LA is a vast, sprawling metropolis that has this unique culture that I haven't felt or seen quite like anywhere else. Having spent 2 years living in east LA this gave me a great opportunity to explore the plethora of cultures brushing shoulders, all coming together to form that of the city.  

Full of opportunists trying to make it, each part of the city changes demographic as you drive from one neighbourhood to another, from Highland Park to K Town, Hollywood to the beaches of Santa Monica and so on. Here is a selection of shots that illustrate the diversity and vastness of the city.
